Phase 1: Intensive Spanish Language Development (August – October to January-February)
The pathway university program starts with 16-24 weeks (depending on the student´s Spanish entry level) of immersion course in Spanish to ensure mastery of B2-level Spanish—the minimum requirement for admission to Spanish universities. With 20 hours of weekly instruction, participants build linguistic confidence through:
- Grammar and vocabulary tailored to academic contexts (e.g., scientific terminology, essay writing).
- Listening and reading comprehension exercises using authentic university-level materials.
- Speaking and writing practice via debates, presentations, and research projects mirroring real academic tasks.
Our total immersion methodology combines dynamic classroom activities with cultural experiences in Madrid, fostering rapid progress through small-group learning (max. 9 students).
To ensure students reach the B2 level, which is required for admission to Spanish universities, the number of weeks in Phase 1 varies based on the initial language level:
For students with level A1: 24 weeks (course start in August)
For students with level A2: 20 weeks (course start between August and September)
For students with level B1: 16 weeks (course start between September and October)
Classes are from 10:00 to 13:05 o´clock, followed by group tutorials from 13:05 to 14:00 o´clock to support academic progress.
Phase 2: PCE & SIELE Exam Preparation (January – May)
PCE (Specific Competency Tests):
During this phase (20 weeks), students prepare to succeed in the entrance exams required for admission to Spanish universities.
- Weekly Class Schedule: 16.5 hours per week, consisting of 20 classes that are 50 minutes long.
- Exam Preparation Tools: We provide subject-specific exam simulations and materials to help students prepare effectively.
- Expert Collaboration: The PCE classes are delivered in collaboration with a renowned center specializing in university preparation, offering tailored instruction that meets the unique needs of each student.
Spanish language tutorials:
A Spanish language group tutorial will be held at Inhispania from 13:05-14:00 o´clock during phase 2.
SIELE (Spanish Language Certification):
As an official SIELE examination center, we provide:
- 4 weekly hours for 5 weeks of test-taking techniques and practice.
- Take the exam conveniently at our Spanish language school, located in the heart of Madrid.
- Guaranteed certification recognized by most of the Spanish universities.
OPTIONAL. C1 Extension (June – August)
After completing the exams, students can enroll in intensive summer courses to achieve the C1 level and continue refining their Spanish before the start of the university course.
