Expresamos gustos y preferencias

Vamos a ver hoy el verbo gustar, que en español se utiliza para expresar gustos. Fíjate en esta tabla para ver cómo se utiliza:

(A mí) me
(A ti) te el deporte (nombres en singular)
(A él/ella/usted) le gusta hacer deporte (verbos)
(A nosotros/nosotras) nos gustan los partidos de baloncesto (nombres en plural)
(A vosotros/vosotras) os
(A ellos/ellas/ustedes) les

Recuerda:

  • Con sustantivos en singular, el verbo gustar se utiliza en singular.
    Me gusta el chocolate.
  • Con sustantivos en plural, el verbo gustar se utiliza en plural.
    Me gustan los perros.
  • Con infinitivo, el verbo gustar se utiliza en singular.
    Me gusta mucho viajar.

El verbo gustar y el verbo encantar son muy parecidos, por eso se utilizan de la misma manera y con las mismas estructuras. El verbo encantar expresa algo que te gusta muchísimo.

Ya sabes expresar las cosas que te gustan, pero… ¿sabes preguntar sobre gustos? Observa los diálogos para que veas cómo funciona el verbo gustar:

  • ¿Te gusta el rock?
    Pues no, no mucho.
  • ¿Qué tipo de música te gusta (más)?
    La música clásica.
  • ¿Qué deporte te gusta (más)?
    El fútbol.
  • ¿Cuál es tu comida favorita/preferida?
    La tortilla de patata.
