Our activities are not compulsory, but we recommend that you participate so that you can:
Get to know Madrid and the Spanish culture.
Practice Spanish with our teachers and other students.
And, most importantly, make a group of new friends from all over the world!

The organisation of the activities and the costs of the teacher / accompanying monitor are included in the price of the course. For activities arranged by the school, the student pays directly for the costs of transport, entry tickets and food/drink.
Dance and cookery classes also carry an extra charge.
Costs and prices for each activity are published on the activities notice board in the school. Examples of costs are:
· Travel by train / bus for an excursion outside Madrid: 10 – 20 euros.
· Tapas: 2 euros / per drink and tapa.
· Daily set menu: 9 – 12 euros.
· Entry to a museum / exhibition: 2 – 6 euros (in some cases, free for EU students).
WHAT ELSE CAN I DO IN MADRID?
Madrid offers many activities you can organise yourself or with other students from the school. If it’s your first time in the city, here’s a few pieces of advice and suggestions of what to do in Madrid.
